Michigan Goalie Instruction

Cat Eye Goaltending is proud to offer instruction for goalies of all ages and skill in metro Detroit. The school has been formed through years of coaches playing through evolving styles and keeping firm on the foundations of solid goaltending. We specialize on footwork, agility, conditioning, attitude and proper form. Cat Eye is proud to offer Weekly clinics, camps, private/semi-private lessons and team goalie instruction.

Coach Bill can work with goalies at different age and skill levels. Blake is almost 13 and plays at the AAA level and Henry is 9 and recently finished his first season as a House goalie and skater. We are all excited to keep working with Coach Bill and seeing even more improvement in both boys’ goaltending skills.

Cat Eye Goalteding was founded by Bill Ruggiero, a competitive player of 25+ years playing AAA/Tier II/Major Junior (OHL, QMJHL) ECHL, CHL, AHL, IHL, Finland Nashville Predators Free Agent, Calgary Flames & San Jose Sharks farm teams.

The team at Cat Eye Goaltending has over 50 years of combined playing and coaching experience, from kids to professional and everything in between.
